Abstract

An iron-base alloy having good high temperature properties has a composition within the following range in per cent by weight: Cr 9.0-15.0, W 1.0-4.0, Co and/or Ni 1.0-5.0, Ta and/or Nb 0,5-5.0, C 0.15-0.4, Fe and impurities, the balance. The impurities may comprise Mn up to 1.0 Si up to 0.m175, Al up to 0.5. Specification 795,471 is referred to.
