848,186. Shell roofs. SILBERKUHL, W. J. Dec. 2, 1958, No. 38777/58. Class 20(4) A reinforced concrete shell roof comprises trusses 1 with prefabricated elements 3a, 3b, 3c secured thereto and to each other by load transmitting connections to form a continuous shell. The elements have re-inforcement projecting from the edges which is secured to reinforcement on other elements and/or the trusses and connected in to form a monolith. The edge elements may form a gutter 15 and window openings may be fitted into the roof as indicated at 11.
