In a lattice structural member or structure such as a roof truss, the component parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 are connected by gusset plates 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 provided on each side of the joint and in the region of the junction only and secured thereto by adhesive and clenched nails. The component parts of the lattice may be of solid or hollow wood or plastics. The gusset plates may be wood or plastics.
