Abstract

838,163. Mudguards. BLUEMEL BROS. Ltd. Jan. 12, 1959 [Jan. 14, 1958] No. 1254/58. Class 136(1) Means for securing cycle mudguards to straps comprise a bridge piece 12 and a pair of headed studs 17 formed in an elastomer material, the bridge piece being formed at each end with an opening 16 for the passage of one of the studs 17, each stud having a transversely extending hole 20 in its shank to receive the adjacent end of one of the stays 15. The openings 16 may be keyhole slots. The holes 20 may have enlarged portions 22 to facilitate the insertion of the stay ends. Specification 357,181 is referred to.
