829,518. Feeding sheets. ERTMA S. A. March 25, 1958 [April 4, 1957], No. 9590/58. Class 100(1) A pile of horizontal sheets is retained in a magazine comprising eight side bars 2, three of which have pile-supporting lips 4 and one having an adjustable pile-supporting finger 5, and an oscillatable sucker 7 is adapted to grip one corner of the bottom sheet 3 and bring it over a driven conveyer roller 11 the axis of which is inclined to the front edge of the sheet, the sheet being fully separated from the magazine when a dropping roller 12 is swung into engagement with the roller 11. The bottom sheet is bent about a bar 6 arranged beneath the pile and parallel to the roller 11. There are two fingers 5, one arranged beneath the other on a spring plate which is adjustably secured to a bar 2, the second finger serving to hold back a second sheet should it also be separated by the sucker 7.
