824,689. Hinges and pivots. STANMORE SPRINGS Ltd. Dec. 31, 1957 [Dec. 31, 1956] No. 39669/56. Class 65(2) An adjustable pivot-carrying or bearing block 3 has sliding engagement with the surface 2 of a carrier 1 located in a metal channel 12 secured to the end of a glass door x and also with the sides of the channel. The carrier is secured to the channel by screws 14. A guide pin 5 on the carrier enters a longitudinal bore in the block, and an adjusting screw 8 secured to the block engages a capstan nut 7 trapped between lugs 6 on the carrier. The channel 12 comprises the upper part of a bar the bottom of which is of inverted channel form to embrace the end of the door.
