820,585. Transformers. ELEKTROSCHALTGERATE GRIMMA VEB. Feb. 25, 1957, No. 6209/57. Class 38 (2). A transformer which provides continuous adjustability of the transformation ratio comprises a laminated magnetic core formed from a U-shaped member 2 and a yoke member 3, the yoke member having a non-magnetic layer 4 disposed between the laminations to form an effective air gap and being rotatable in a plane perpendicular to the legs of the U-shaped member. Windings are disposed on the legs of the U-shaped member.
