Abstract
817,665. Supporting bobbins on textile spinning &c. machines. CASABLANCAS HIGH DRAFT CO. Ltd. April 12, 1957, No. 12044/57. Class 120(2) In a bobbin-holder of the rotary suspension type described in Specification 575,743 in which a collar 20 slides on a body 19 to abut the bobbin-core under the influence of a spring 23, and a catch 12 is rotatable into or out of a position in which it engages the core when the collar is moved along the body against the pressure of the spring, the catch is arranged to be rotated by means which include a resilient operating-member 16 positively connected to the collar so as to move with it in both axial directions along the body. The operating member is of U-form' with its upper end passed through a closed slot 17 in a key 18 with' its ends disposed in slots on the collar and held in place by a circlip 22 in recesses in the collar and the key. The key also has recesses 18b to accommodate the ends of the spring. The body is in two parts secured together by a rivet 10 and a circlip 7 locating-pins and corresponding apertures 5 being provided.
