Classes 79(1), 79(2) and 79(3) In an agricultural motor vehicle having a horizontal engine cylinder 9, a clutch housing 16, an axle housing 6 and a gear box 1 containing a change speed gear and a differential gear 7 disposed in a substantially horizontal rectangle, the cylinder 9 which rests on the axle housing 6 is on the opposite side of the rectangle to the gear box 1, the clutch housing 16 being opposite and in front of the axle housing 6 and forming a mounting for an implement carrying frame 18. As shown the cylinder 9 is mounted on the axle housing 6 by a bracket 15. The engine crankshaft 14 is connected by bevel gearing 26, 27 to a shaft driving the engine valve gear (not shown), and the shaft 14 is connected by a flywheel 22, a clutch 23 and gearing 20, 21 to the input shaft 8 of the change speed gear..The casings 11, 16, 1 are connected at their front end by a plate 19 carrying a pin 17 for mounting the frame 18 and for supporting a steering column 30. A driver's seat 25 is disposed above the gear box 1.
