Abstract

813,153. Folding box pallets for handling loads. BERGLOFS VERKSTADER A.B. April 9, 1957 [Jan. 18, 1957], No. 11580/57. Class 78 (4). A set of walls 1 (Fig. 1) adapted to fit on a pallet 6 which then serves as the bottom wall of the resulting container has walls 2, 3 which fold inwards on each other. The frame 5 which fits over the pallet 6 preferably has welded to it inwardly directed flanges 10 (Fig. 4) which are engaged by the load to maintain the walls on the pallet 6. Alternatively, or in addition, each wall may carry a hook 12 (Fig. 5) which takes under the upper deck when the wall is erect. Other securing means may also be employed. The walls preferably fold, as described in Specification 808,464 in such a way that they may be stacked when not in use.
