810,945. Drying clothes. ENGLISH ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. July 1, 1955 [July 8, 1954], No. 20012/54. Class 34(2) In a clothes drier of the kind set forth in Specification 732,598 the heating element circuit is controlled by a thermostat 8 which resets itself automatically and a reflector 10 is secured to the wire guard 7 to intercept radiation and prevent damage to the clothes if the heater element 4 overheats due to obstruction of air flow. A further reflector 11 between the element 4 and the sheet metal component 1 of the drier door prevents damage to the finish of the door.
