Class 103(5) A king-pin for a fifth wheel trailer is removably mounted in an internally tapered housing 56 provided with flanges 58, 60 by which it is welded to structural members 48, 50 of the trailer body. The tapered king- pin is retained in position by a bolt 83 which engages a nut 82 secured to the upper end of the casing 56.
