810,793. Building units. FINDLAY, G. K. May 7, 1957 [June 13, 1956], No. 18289/56. Class 87(1) A wall cladding unit comprises a lower part A having its surface grooved at 3 to simulate brickwork and an upper part B inclined to and offset from the part A, the part B having spaced flanges 10 along its upper edge for hanging the unit on a horizontal batten. The rear surface of the part A has ribs 5 at positions corresponding to the grooves 3, and flanges 7 along its lower and vertical edges. The Provisional Specification describes also a modified unit wherein the rear surface of the upper part is formed with at least one horizontal rib and with an undercut recess in each flange 10 forming a hook. The unit may be perforated to permit nailing to a framework. Specifications 775,303 [Group V], and 810,794 are referred to.
