703,926. Building blocks. BRITISH ART TILE CO., Ltd. Dec. 19, 1951 [Jan. 17, 1951], No. 1336/51. Class 87 (1) A building block 9 is formed with a horizontal aperture 15, a tongue 10 and corresponding groove 11 on its lower and upper faces and tongues 16 and grooves 17 on its end faces. A depending lip 19 and a corresponding recess 20 may be formed on a lower and upper edge and the recess may be extended at 21. In a modification, the aperture 15 is closed by a partition arranged at one end or centrally thereof. In a stringer block, Fig. 6, the partition between the aperture 15 and the groove 11 is omitted.
