The troughing rollers 16, Fig. 2, are mounted rotatably on a flexible member 18, each end of which is held against rotation by the shank portions 21, 22 of a clamp 20 secured to one of the longitudinal members of the framework. Each roller is journalled on the cable by any type of ball, roller or plain bearing assembly 25 and is separated from the adjacent rollers by tubular members 32 In the construction shown in Fig. 3, the rollers 50 are tubular and of such length that only three are required for each unit. The ends of the cable are gripped between the jaws 44, 45, Fig. 4, of a clamp 42 which is secured by a screw 43 to a longitudinal 41 of the framework. The rollers are retained in correct spacing by collars 57 secured to the cable by set screws. In a modification the cable is cored centrally to provide a passage for lubricant to the bearing members. In another modification, each end of the cable 83, Fig. 6, is passed through a support 82 and a washer 84 is fixed to it. A coil spring 85 is confined between the washer and support. In a further modification each end of the cable is attached to a spool which is engaged by the sides of a slot formed in the support.
