Class 108(1) A resonant area of a vehicle panel 10 is provided with a flanged depression covered on the upper side by wire mesh 20 and on the lower side by a rubber diaphragm 17. An arrangement is also described where a plane sheet of rubber is retained in the bottom of a flanged opening by wood retaining strips carrying the wire mesh.
