Abstract
787,458. Electrophonetic deposition. EDISON SWAN ELECTRIC CO., Ltd. Dec. 1, 1954 [Dec. 10, 1953], No. 34468/53. Drawings to Specification. Class 41. [Also in Group XL (a)] A wire is coated with aluminium oxide by immersing it in a suspension of the oxide in a water alcohol mixture, to which has been added a small amount of aluminium nitrate and magnesium nitrate, and applying a negative potential thereto. After coating to the required thickness, the wire is fired in hydrogen at 1600-1700 C. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 725,111 [Group XL (a)].
