Abstract
785,062. Feedwater heating systems. SIEMENS - SCHUCKERTWERKE AKT. - GES. April 6, 1955 [April 6, 1954], No. 10102/55. Class 64(1) In high pressure steam power plant generating steam at 550‹C. and 300 atmospheres, feedwater is heated in at least three stages, first in a heater 3 by steam bled from the steam turbine, then by flue gases in an economizer 10 and then again by high pressure steam bled from the turbine, in a heater 4 or 5 or both. The economizer 10 may be in series or in parallel with the heater 4. A shut-off valve 9 is connected in parallel with the economizer.
