Abstract

784,046. Cartons. CONTINENTAL PAPER CO. April 3, 1956 [April 11, 1955], No. 10142/56. Class 18. A carton is set up by folding a blank to tubular form and pressing inwards end forming sections 17 of one wall 13, these sections having tongues 25 which enter cut-outs 29 in the opposite wall 15, and wing portions 22 which fold at right angles to the sections and enter the cut-outs 29 at their extremities. The blank may comprise strips 12a, 14a for forming feet, and additional cut-outs 32, 33 may be provided for ventilation. The downwardly projecting tongues 25 and wing portions may serve as feet. The sections 17 may slope inwardly and the sides 12, 14 be of corresponding trapezoidal shape. The carton may be wax &c. coated.
