779,377. Bedstead joints. WHITFIELD, & CO., Ltd., S. B. Jan. 25, 1956 [March 9, 1955], No. 6869/55. Class 52 (2). A metallic dovetail bedstead corner joint with a socket member consisting of two parts 1, 3 clamped about a vertical frame member 4 by a bolt 2 has a screw-threaded locking pin 5 within a tapped aperture 1a and engaging a groove 6a in key member 6 to prevent its withdrawal, the pin also engaging the head of bolt 2 to prevent slackening thereof.
