Class 38(5) [Also in Groups XI and XXIX] A switch associated with gas-burner control valves (see Group XXIX) comprises an armature 24 urged downwardly by a spring 44 to separate the contacts 19, 20 and an electromagnet 14 movable towards the armature by a push button 42 so that when the electromagnet is energized, depression and release of the push button causes the armature to be raised to close the switch which remains closed until the electromagnet is de-energized.
