Abstract
644,848. Electromagnetic switches; contacts. PIERCE FOUNDATION, J. B. Oct. 9, 1944, No. 20846/48. Convention date, Oct. 30, 1943. Divided out of 606,881. [Class 38(v)] In an electromagnetically - operated switch two fixed contacts 48 are engaged by two contacts 47 on a bridge member 46 that is secured by two rivets 45 to a spring member 44 fixed to the armature 35, the rivets 45 being angularly spaced (say 90 degrees) from the two contacts 47 to afford self-adjustability of the contacts 47 with respect to the contacts 48. The movement of the armature is controlled by a snap spring 24.
