751,975. Animal-spraying device. ALLMAN PATENTS, Ltd., and COOPER, McDOUGALL & ROBERTSON, Ltd. Jan. 7, 1955 [Feb. 2, 1954], No. 3112/54. Class 5 (1). An apparatus for spraying animals comprises an open-topped, open-ended runway formed by two screens assembled at the sides of a track, each screen bearing spray beams which are fitted with spray nozzles and extend lengthwise along the runway. The side screens 1 are supported by end frames 2 and carry booms 9, 10 which are fitted with spray nozzles 11, 12 respectively. A third boom 13 fitted with nozzles 4 is arranged centrally above the runway and is connected to the booms 9, 10 by means of pipes 20, 21. The spray fluid is supplied to the boom 13 via a two-way valve 15 and a pipe 17. Means are provided for collecting unused fluid in tanks incorporated on either side of the apparatus and for returning it from thence to the main supply tank.
