Abstract

747,115. Spring surfaces. WINGFOOT CORPORATION. Jan. 7, 1954 [Aug. 5, 1953], No. 467/54. Class 52(4). A floating front edge for a seat is supported by twoarmed levers 9, 12 fulcrummed on a rod 10 carried by the seat frame and biased by springs 15. The surface consists of a canvas &c. sheet with a border wire 6 secured to the seat-frame around its other three sides by tension springs and supporting a cavitated foam rubber cushion squab.
