Abstract
976,899. Cushions &c. PIRELLI SAPSA S.p.A. Nov. 27, 1963 [Jan. 5, 1963], No. 46810/63. Heading A4M. A cushion 1 of resilient material has secured to its underside a sheet 3 of textile fabric with its threads on the bias with respect to the sides of the cushion and having two projecting marginal portions B, C. In another embodiment Fig. 2 the backing sheet 3 has four marginal portions which are secured to a frame 2 by means of hook-like elements 4, the frame also supports resilient webbing 5. In another modification, Fig. 3, strips 6 are secured to the underside of the cushion to extend over a part only of the area of the underside.
