739,893. Cartons. PASJACK, S. June 22, 1954. No. 18218/54. Class 18. A carton has a combined handle and partition member 22 mounted loosely on filler strips 21 secured to opposed side walls, the member 22 having slots 31 and the strips 21 having vertical slots in their upper edges, enabling the handle to be raised from a position completely enclosed within the carton to a position projecting above the closure flaps 7, 9. Opposite flaps 9 are recessed to clear the handle and a finger opening 15 assists its withdrawal. Specification 732,430 is referred to.
