Abstract
737,100. Shuttering for casting walls. HEIDENSTAM, E. J. VON. Oct. 31, 1952 [April 23, 1952], No. 27384/52. Class 20 (2). A concrete wall is cast by a sliding mould 4a, 4b to storey height and then one or both sides of the mould are raised above the cast wall and moulds 21 inserted below it, around which further concrete is cast for shaping recesses for supporting floors. The moulds 21 are fixed or horizontally slidable on a beam 26 connected by a wire 24 to the mould so that the moulds 21 may be removed automatically by upward movement of the mould or by hand. The moulds 21 are placed in position by workmen on a platform 22 suspended from the mould which is mounted on a yoke 14 adapted to be raised on a rod 17 by a jack 16. For a partition wall the moulds 21 are inserted from both sides and abut in the middle, Fig. 10 (not shown). The moulds 21 may be slidable in vertical slots in the mould, Figs. 11 and 12 (not shown), or may be rotated by the wire 24 to loosen it, Fig. 14 (not shown), or may be left in the concrete, Figs. 15, 16 (not shown).
