Abstract

For the putting up of small dwellings, part of the inner and outer walls are erected to a low height on a suitable supporting surface, and at a height which is slightly greater than this, plates extending over the full area enclosed by the walls, are installed to act as shutters. These are of polyurethane or polyethylene foam reinforced with a network of metal, and a reinforced support plate is cast on these, the support plate being provided with fastenings for a pressure cylinder and a passage for the piston rod. The reinforced support is jacked up by the cylinder to the required height and plates of reinforced foam are fitted to act as shutters for the casting of the walls between them and the bonding of the concrete of the walls to the reinforced support plate. An ornamental outer wall may be provided and during casting the foam plates are held away from the outer wall by fastening which are removed when the concrete has partly set, whilst the foam plates remain. The technique dispenses with the need for highly skilled people and eliminates waiting time whilst floors and walls set.

Description

The present invention relates to a method of building dwellings, as well as dwellings thus constructed, which are generally, but not exclusively, single-family homes or small apartment buildings.

We know that single-family homes and small apartment buildings are, in the traditional way, in the vast majority of cases built in masonry. This traditional process generally involves the realization on the ground floor of a concrete floor or hollow slabs laid on the foundations, on which are then masonry the exterior and interior walls, which, when arrived at the desired height, receive the soil of the next floor also in the form of a layer of concrete, hollow slabs or other suitable elements, and so on.

However, it is a well known fact that this traditional construction system has many drawbacks. Indeed, it is very laborious and therefore very uneconomical due to the large specialized workforce required, among other things, for the masonry of the walls, and moreover very slow due to the long waiting periods, generally several days, between successive stages of construction, which is especially the case in the presence of concrete floors on site, which must be cured before being able to erect masonry walls or walls.

The disadvantage of waiting periods is not inherent in the use of hollow tiles, which, however, are used only rarely enough in the construction of ceilings or storey floors due to the visibility of the joints after plastering.

And, in addition, the use of hollow tiles does not eliminate the disadvantages of masonry.

Also, the present invention relates to a method of building dwellings which is practically free from all the aforementioned drawbacks of the traditional building system and which is characterized for this purpose in that it provides for a particularly simple and practically free of interruptions, without scaffolding or other devices of this kind, of the floor slabs by concreting on the ground floor, and a gradual, automatic and simultaneous realization of the walls and walls as the slabs are lifted, also by pouring an appropriate composition, such as generally reinforced concrete or not.

This system according to the invention has the great advantage over the traditional system of saving considerable time in the construction of the shell, without increasing the workforce.

The construction method according to the invention, which has the abovementioned advantages in addition to many other advantages, for this purpose essentially comprises the following operations: construction, on an appropriate basis and up to a low height, of at least a portion exterior and interior walls: installation of plates, intended to act as formwork, over a height slightly greater than that of the previous small walls and over the entire length on either side of the latter; concreting a reinforced concrete floor slab on the said base; arrangement or realization at several points of this floor slab, on the one hand, of means for fixing a pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder and, on the other hand, of a passage for the piston rod of the latter; lifting of said floor slab by means of these pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders, with simultaneous lifting of said formwork plates and possibly mounting of such additional plates; successive pouring, between said plates and on the small walls, of a sufficient quantity of concrete until the floor slab has reached the required height; and finally fixing the floor slab to the concrete wall thus obtained.

The support 1 may be an appropriate base of any kind, but will preferably be a paving slab, placed directly on the ground or constituting the upper element of a cellar, false cellar or other.

On the base thus obtained are erected, according to the system of the invention, the exterior walls 2 and the unrepresented interior walls of the house up to a determined height, for example up to a height of 50 cm, and is built the facing 3 of the exterior walls, which are hollow walls, approximately to the same height.

An insulating layer is then introduced into the hollow of the exterior walls, up to a determined height, for example in the form of polyurethane or cellular polyethylene sheets or of another suitable insulating material, an insulating layer which is kept at a short distance. of the outer wall 3 by equidistant spacers 5, for example in the form of tubular plastic elements, for example of the kind used for laying electric cables.

A support plate 6 is then applied to the inner face of the wall 3 and to the two faces of the possible interior walls, also up to a determined height, which in this case is for example a plate of insulating material. , reinforced and supported by a lattice of concrete bars 7, suitably fixed, for example by welding, to the reinforcement 8, which is kept at a certain distance from the pavement 1 by suitable spacing elements, not shown, support trellis 7 which is also fixed at the top to the frame 8 by means of spacing rods or support elements 9, and may, if necessary, be capped curved stirrups.

There are then placed on said paving slab 1 at least three devices 10 regularly distributed over the surface at judiciously chosen points and the number of which depends on the extent of the surface, devices which are in the form of a central tubular part 11 , the height of which is greater, for example, than the thickness of the floor plate to be lifted later and of which four arms 12, 13, 14 and 15 are integral, which, at their ends, carry vertical L-profiles, respectively 16, 17, 18 and 19. The tube 11 has a well-defined diameter and said L-sections 16-19 are arranged at appropriate mutual distances. In addition, at the center of the tube 11, where the arms 12-15 meet, a nut 20 is provided, with which a threaded rod 21 cooperates, possibly provided with a head 22.

When the elements 1a are arranged on the paving plate 1, bolts, respectively 23, 24, 25 and 26, the length of which is also greater than 1, are applied to the L-sections 16-19, which act as guides. thickness of the floor plate to be made and which are placed with their heads on the slab 1. These bolts are preferably provided with an envelope, such as a small tube, which can remain in the concrete after the removal of the bolts . The heads of the bolts may be fitted with a washer, plate or other suitable device for distributing the force exerted on the concrete over a larger area.

When the assembly illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2 is completed, a layer of sand or other suitable material 27 is spread over the paving slab 1 and a layer of concrete 28 is then poured onto the paving slab as floor slab or the like, the layer of sand 27 simply serving to prevent the concrete floor slab 28 from blocking with the paving slab 1.

When the slab 28 is sufficiently hardened, for example after one to two days, the elements 10 are removed, which can be done simply by tightening the screw 22, so as to automatically press the lower end of this screw against the slab 1 and push the device 10, formed by the tube 11 with the arms 12-15 and the profiles 16-19, upwards until it comes out of the concrete, all this so that at the place of each device 10 only the four bolts 23-26 continue to protrude above the slab 28.

Then fixed to each group of four bolts, using appropriate nuts, a base plate 29, to which is fixed, by means of suitable supports 30, the body of a pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder, of which the length is slightly greater than the height of the stage concerned and whose open end, that is to say the end by which the piston rod 32, is oriented downward, and this so that it is located opposite the hole formed by said tube 11.

At this time, the piston rods 32 are pushed back simultaneously from all the cylinders concerned 31 so as to lift the ground plate 28 together with the support plate 6 and the cylinders. When you have reached the desired height, that is to say for example at a height of about 40 cm (see Figure 4), you continue the masonry of the exterior wall 3 to a determined height and you have possibly additional plates 4 with intercalation of spacing elements 5, which will be removed before the complete masonry of the wall, to avoid any contact between the insulation 4 and the exterior wall 3, and then concrete 34 is poured between the layers 4 and 6, which, depending on the circumstances, will be reinforced concrete or not.

We see that the system described in the previous lines allows to progress gradually upwards in steps of about 40 to 50 cm, each time after a short waiting period to allow sufficient hardening of the concrete 34, and this by gradual lifting of the floor plate 28, so as to each time drive up the formwork formed by the plates 4 and 6 and thus to form at each step a new hollow to be filled with concrete between them. It is thus obtained that, following the gradual lifting of the floor slab 28, the walls are raised step by step by pouring concrete.

Needless to say, this system allows rapid progress of work without requiring additional manpower.

As soon as the slab 28 has reached the desired height (FIG. 5), there is a support 35, under the slab 28, under the slab 28, formed by tubes 36, 37 and 38, which are connected two two by suitable crosspieces, respectively 39 and 40, all this so that this support remains open at one of its sides with a view to its arrangement on the piston rod concerned 32, as shown in FIG. 5.

The length of the supports 35 corresponds to the desired distance between the upper face of the paving slab and the lower face of the floor slab and each of these supports 35 is provided at the bottom with an adjusting screw. It goes without saying that we can use standard props or jacks for the floor slab.

At this moment, the piston rods 32 are removed so as to place the slab 28 on the supports 35, after which the cylinders 31 are removed after removing said nuts, and the bolts 23-26 are driven from the floor slab 28.

The support 7 is then curved or cut to the required length and placed on the wall formed by the different masses of concrete 34 (see FIG. 5), after which a layer of concrete, cement, mor tier or another suitable composition 41, which forms, through said support 7, so to speak the connecting layer between the slab 28 and the concrete wall.

Finally, when the layer 34 has sufficiently hardened, the supports are moved aside and the completion of the house is started, which is carried out in the same manner as that of a house whose structural work has been carried out in the traditional manner.

In this case, there is disposed against the exterior masonry walls 2 and the interior masonry walls not shown, a support plate, such as for example a plate of insulating material 44, the height of which corresponds roughly to the thickness of the slab 28, after which there is available on the latter, before pouring the slab 42, a support 6, which, as in the previous case, is supported by a trellis 7 and by supports 9, which, by occurrence, are fixed to the frame 45 of the slab 42.

With the reinforcement 8 of the slab 28 is, in this case, connected a trellis 46, the free end 47 of which protrudes above this slab after its concreting.

The devices 10 are, in this case, higher than in the previous case, which means, in other words, that the tube 11 and the L-sections 23-26 have a length which is greater than the thickness of all of the slabs 28 and 42, while the bolts 23 and 26, which are longer than in the previous case, are provided, between the two slabs 28 and 42, with nuts 48 acting as supports for the slab 42 These bolts 23-26 are executed so as to allow the separation of the slab 42 from the slab 28, when the latter has arrived at the required height and rests thereon on supports.

The work then continues in the same way as in the previous case, with the only difference that the lifting of the two slabs 28 and 42 stops when the slab 28 reaches the position illustrated in FIG. 9, position in which it rests, after the withdrawal of the piston rods 32, on the supports 35 provided for this purpose, a plate or other similar element 49 then being placed on the upper crosspieces 39 and 40 of the supports 35 to move the second slab further upwards 42 under the control of the jacks through said piston rods 32.

At this moment, an additional lattice or other similar device 50 is suitably fixed (see FIG. 11) to part 47 of the lattice 46, for example by bending said parts 47 of the lattice 46 on the lattice or other similar device 50, which is placed above the concrete wall already concreted, after which the previous operations are repeated until the slab 42 is at the level provided, illustrated by FIG. 11.

Said trellis 7 is then bent in an appropriate manner and, if necessary, partially cut out with a view to its arrangement above the walls already concreted, as in the first embodiment described above.

Enfin, ladite dalle de béton 42 est rendue solidaire du mur en béton 34 au moyen d'une couche de béton, de ciment, de mortier ou d'une autre composition appropriée 51, les supports 35 qui séparent les dalles 42 et 48 étant finalement enlevées après le durcissement de cette couche de liaison 51, afin de permettre l'achèvement de la liaison entre les murs en béton et la dalle 28 au moyen d'une couche de mortier de ciment ou autre 52.Finally, said concrete slab 42 is made integral with the concrete wall 34 by means of a layer of concrete, cement, mortar or other suitable composition 51, the supports 35 which separate the slabs 42 and 48 being finally removed after the hardening of this bonding layer 51, in order to allow the bonding between the concrete walls and the slab 28 to be completed by means of a layer of cement mortar or the like 52.

Unitile to insist on the fact that we thus have a particularly efficient and economical process for the realization of floor and wall slabs, slabs whose concreting takes place in the absence of formwork and walls which are obtained automatically when the hardened floor tiles are lifted, and this by means of the insulation layer in the hollow of the exterior walls as formwork, on the one hand, and of low height panels, hoisted with the floor tiles, somewhere else.

It goes without saying that the invention is not limited in any way to the examples of implementation described in the preceding lines, but provides for all kinds of modifications, additions and adaptations, obviously provided that it does not go beyond its framework defined by the claims set out below.
