In a domestic heating installation, a back boiler having inlet and outlet pipe connections on its upper face is detachably supported by side plates which extend above the boiler to form a chamber for the pipe connections, and a frame plate forming a seating for a detachable damper plate connects the upper ends of the side plates and a detachable front plate encloses the front of the pipe connection chamber so that the boiler fittings may be reached and the boiler removed after removal of the damper plate and front plate. Each side plate comprises a lower portion 6, supporting the boiler 1 on its upper edge, a web 8 spacing the boiler 1 from a back plate 16 which forms the back of the boiler flue, and an upper part 7 which forms a side of a chamber for the pipe connections. Slots 10 in the upper parts 7 of the side plates allow the pipes 12, 13 to be led from the boiler. A U-shaped frame 20, forming a seating for a slidable damper plate, is provided with forward extensions 24 which locate the complete casing with respect to the fireplace side cheeks A. The back of the flue is completed by a second back plate 19, and a deflector plate 32 is mounted at the top of the back of the boiler. Specification 717,009 is referred to.
