728,328. Bundling trees and plants. BIESHEUVEL, A. J. March 1, 1954 [April 2, 1953], No. 9196/53. Class 94 (1). A device for use in bundling small trees &c. comprises a stand with a pair of end frames 1, 2, 3, a cross-piece 4, a stationary trough made up of a plurality of spaced parallel hook-like arms 8 secured to the cross-piece 4 so as to extend downwards and forwards therefrom, and a plurality of presser arms 12 each mounted for hinging movement on the crosspiece and adapted when swung down to enter the gap between an adjacent pair of trough-forming arms. As shown in use, each co-operating pair of trough-forming and presser arms lie closely side by side. The presser arms 12 may be connected at their outer ends in pairs to form loops 15 which when swung down pass over the end of a single fixed arm between them. The fixed arms 8 may -be provided with supports 11 secured to a crossbar 7. The cross-piece 4 together 'with the fixed and presser arms may be detachable from the stand for mounting on a vehicle or tractor.
