A tractor hood has a flexible covering 2 carried by transverse bows secured to slides 12 mounted on two longitudinal guides or arms 13. The arms 13 are held slidably in brackets 15 pivoted at 17 to extensions 16 of the windscreen frame 3. The hood may be collapsed by swinging arms 13 upwardly and then sliding the arms through the brackets 15 so that the bows are arranged in a vertical tier above the windscreen.
