Abstract

724,433. Band clips. MULLARD RADIO VALVE CO., Ltd. March 3,1953, No. 5870/53. Class 44. [Also in Group XXXVI] A clip for securing cylindrical members to bases comprises a band 1 one end of which is formed with a cam face 2 and is engaged by the other end, which is in the form of a clasp 3, when a bolt 4 passing through the clasp is screwed into a hole 7 in a base plate 5 and so tightens the band round the member. An aperture 6 enables the member to project through the plate 5. In Fig. 3 the clasp is a separate member 9, while in Fig. 6 the band has feet 11, 12 which engage the underneath of the plate 5, and an additional fixing lug 10 is provided. The clasp is a die-cast member 9. A spring washer 15 may be placed between the bolt 4 and the plate 5.
