721,103. Boxes; bundling. NAAMLOOZE VENNOOTSCHAP PHILIPS' GLOEILAMPENFABRIEKEN. May 13, 1953 [May 16, 1952], No. 13366/53. Classes 18 and 94 (1). ' Cardboard boxes have struts at the corners formed from blanks folded or rolled to form tubes, the tubes being secured to the box walls and having portions entering apertures in the box base. The tubes may have slots a<SP>1</SP>, c<SP>1</SP> receiving the box walls, and portions 15<SP>1</SP>, 16<SP>1</SP> overlapping each other and entering the apertures. Portions 15<SP>11</SP>, 16<SP>11</SP> form supports for the base of a box above. The struts may be cylindrical. A series of boxes may be stacked with wooden etc. rods passing through their aligned struts andapertures at the base corners, the upper and lower ends of the rods being joined by horizontal battens &c. and the whole being bound with metal strip.
