Abstract

717,055. Valve amplifying circuits. NATIONAL RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION. Jan. 6, 1953 [Jan. 17, 1952], No. 1359/52. Class 40 (6) In a series-connected amplifier comprising an input valve A and output valve B with their D.C. current paths in series, a shunt D.C. path R1 is provided across the output valve B and its load R2. The input valve A is operated so that its anode current and mutual conductance are high, whereas the output valve B is run at a low current so as to allow of a high value of load resistance R2.
