Abstract

708,662. Displaying articles. FIECHTER, E. Sept. 26, 1951 [Sept. 28, 1950], No. 22473/51. Class 3(2) [Also in Groups XIV and XXV] Hooks for use in displaying articles in shop windows &c. are used in connection with a perforated sheet that forms the top of the' show &c. case. The holes 2 are preferably equidistant in rows at right angles and the hooks 6 have shanks 4 that pass through the holes and are bent at right angles either in the plane of the hook or perpendicular thereto. The end 5 may be long enough for a very short turned down end to engage in an adjacent hole. There is sufficient clearance between the holes and shank to enable the hooks to be inserted from below. The shanks may terminate in a screwthread instead of a hook and in this case the holes 2 and the shanks are preferably of square or other noncircular shape to prevent relative rotation.
