703,385. Resiliently mounted seats. FLEISCHER & SCHMID CORPORATION. April 3, 1952, No. 8545/52. Class 52(1) A tractor or like seat is mounted on a cylindrical tube 30 carried by a sleeve 20 pivoted transversely on a bolt 24 at the top of a pair of standards 10. A downwardly projecting arm 70 at the forward end of the tube 30 is coupled to rearwardly extending brackets 110 on the standards by a tension spring 100 and a telescopic shock absorber 134, 136 is mounted between these brackets and the seat. The tube 30 may be rotatable in the sleeve 20 to permit lateral tilt of the seat on sloping ground, or can be held by a set screw 32.
