Class 135 The air pressure reducing valve described in the parent Specification is modified by the.provision of a taper t on that peripheral edge of the piston j which controls communication between passages f and the ports m in the piston, thereby providing for gradual opening or closing of such communication on movement of the piston to prevent hunting thereof. The taper angle may be 10 degrees, and it is stated that the deflector n of the parent Specification may be omitted.
