Abstract

689,859. Cycle supports. SEBEL, H. Dec. 28, 1950, No. 31520/50. Class 136 (i) A pair of struts 11 support a bicycle in an upstanding position and are each rigidly secured to the bicycle frame by a clamp 7 adjacent the ends of the rear axle 3, the struts extending outwardly and downwardly and being provided with ground engaging wheels 13. The axle is mounted in slots 4 in side plates 2 on the cycle frame and passes through holes in the clamps 7. The clamps and side plates are gripped between nuts 5 and shoulders 6 on the axle 3. Lugs 8 on the clamps engage in the slots 4. U-shaped portions 9 of the clamps adjustably embrace the struts 11 so that the bicycle is supported in a vertical position with both wheels 13 engaging the ground or the wheels may be raised so that the bicycle is supported in an inclided position by one wheel only. Alternatively the struts 11 may be welded to the clamps 7. Specification 689,864, is referred to.
