Abstract

688,103. Sifting apparatus. KRUPP STAHLBAU RHEINHAUSEN, F. Sept. 17, 1951 [Oct. 7, 1950], No. 21756/51. Class 117 [Also in Group XXXII] A reciprocating sifter box 4 is controlled in its movement by transverse bars 6 extending sideways from the box 4 and lying between rubber buffers 7, 8 mounted on a support 5 attached to the platform 1. The bars 6 have a limited and adjustable freedom of movement between the buffers, the contact surfaces of which are convex towards the bars. The platform 1 is itself mounted on springs 2 on the base, and the sifter box 4 is carried from the platform by inclined links 3. A driving-crank 9 carried on the platform oscillates the sifter by links 10, 11, the latter being mounted between springs 12 seated on a casing attached to the sifter box.
