687,918. Seats. GAUMONT - KALEE SEATING, Ltd. Nov. 29, 1951, No. 28056/51. Class 52(ii) In order that a theatre &c. chair may be accommodated to a slope of the floor the side standards 1 consist of two parts, a base part 4 adapted to be bolted to the floor and an uper part 5 which can be held in adjusted position on the base part 4 by a clamping bolt and nut 6, 7. The base part 4 is provided with an arcuate concave bearing 9, while the upper part 5 has a complementary concave part 10 and the bolt 6 carried by the base part 4 passes through a slot 11 in .the upper part 5. For increased stability the bearing surfaces may be tongued and grooved respectively. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller' to Specification 638,508.
