689,028. Children's seats. BUHLER, GEB. Dec. 28, 1951, No. 30341/51. Class 52(ii) A child's seat is adapted to be clamped to a table top 12 and comprises on each side member 2, 3 a bearing block 4 provided with a screw 5 having a nut 8 on a projecting pin 9 of which is pivoted a stirrup 10. The stirrup 10 is provided on its upper leg with a rubber strip 11 adapted to bear upon the upper side of the table top. On the bearing block is pivoted a finger 13 adapted to be raised against the undersurface of the table top for clamping purposes by means of a wedge 17 which is spring controlled and provided with a handle 22 mounted on an axially rotatable peg 19 so that the wedge 17 may be withdrawn and held in withdrawn position by rotating the handle 22 and allowing it to abut against the side member 2, 3.
