Class 119 A bullet magazine for use with air guns is mounted at the rear of the breech opening 15 of the gun barrel 12 and comprises, in one housing, an outer stationary annular part 65 with bullet pockets and an inner part 35 rotatable in the outer part, the two parts defining a bullet path crossing the barrel axis, step-by-step rotation of the inner part moving the bullets consecutively into alignment with the breech opening through which they drop. In the form shown applied to an air gun as described in Specification 621,417, the bullet-magazine is arranged in a sleeve 33 which is a rearward extension of the sleeve 22 for operating the hinged breech block 20 of the prior invention. The magazine comprises a ring 65 which is fast with sleeve 33 and has internal recesses 40 to receive protective sleeves 45 for the bullets X arranged as shown in Fig. 3 in relation to a pocket 52 in line with the gun bore. The bulletcarrying sleeves are fed to the loading position 52 by turning, with the aid of projections 37, 38, a disk 35 having a bulletsleeve supporting surface 47 and a cam surface 50 which presses a sleeve from its recess 40 and feeds it in the path shown in Fig. 3 to pocket 52 where it is retained by a spring-pressed plate 54 the empty sleeve in front being guided by a further cam 56 back to a recess 40.
