682,199. Ships framing; yachts. EAMES, M. C. April 25, 1951. [Feb. 2, 1950] No. 2726/50. Class 113 (ii). A boat, particularly a yacht, has two longitudinal bulkheads 1, 2, slotted to receive correspondingly slotted transverse bulkheads such as 6, 10. These, if assembled upside down form a self supporting structure to which the hull skin 26, 27 can be applied. With the bulkheads and deck the skin forms completely enclosed side chambers, and an open cock-pit which is self draining through the slot between the twin keel-girders 18 to receive a centreboard.
