675,533. Cycle brakes. PHILLIPS & CO., Ltd., J. A. Jan. 26, 1951 [Dec. 13, 1949], No. 31932/49. Class 136(i) A brake is attached to a cycle by means of a bracket 11 having a pair of abutments 13 adapted to engage either a fork crown 17 or a rear stay bridge 19, the bracket being rigidly secured by rivets 14 to the back plate 10 of the brake and provided with a hole for an attachment bolt 15. Notches 16 are formed in the abutments 13 and they may be of curved configuration or V-shaped to accommodate bridge tubes of various sizes.
