Class 64(ii) A radiator for a central heating installation is formed from two sheets 1, 2 bent in serpentine fashion with the contours of one sheet closely following those of the other sheet and at least one of the sheets is additionally corrugated to increase the surface area. The edges of the sheets are formed with flanges for the joining of the sheets by welded seams 5 and the small corrugations extend vertically on the outer curved surfaces only of the radiator and do not extend to the top and bottom thereof. This provides a top inlet passage 6 and a bottom outlet passage 7 for connection with hot water or steam pipes 3, smooth uncorrugated walls for the main recesses of the element surface and channels 8 for the flow of the medium.
