Class 122(i) [Also in Group XXXIV] The piston of the fluid pressure actuator of an internal shoe drum brake comprises a packing element 23 of rubber-like material, that may be adjustably compressed to alter its tightness in the cylinder 1 by means of a screwed nut 16 which exerts a downward force on the member 11. The nut 16 may be adjusted by inserting a screwdriver bit B through a hole 5 in the side of the cylinder 1.
