664,875. Mercantile forms. STEVENS, A. H. (International Tag & Salesbook Co.). July 27, 1949, No. 19741/49. Class 16. A mercantile form particularly for use in C.O.D. transactions comprises several superposed sheets 2, 4, 6 in which the adjacent sheets are separately attached as by adhesive 8 in the form of spaced spots or a thin line to adjacent sheets in assembled relation adajacent one of the marginal edges so as to be readily detachable, the sheets being of varying lengths so that the marginal edges opposite those first referred to are offset with respect to one another and attached as by adhesive 12, 22 to the next adjacent sheet in spaced relation to the second named marginal edge so as to be readily detachable leaving an area free that may be grasped to successively remove sheets from the set. The back of the bottom sheet has adhesive applied to it to secure the set to merchandise and the three sheets 2, 4, 6 serve respectively as an office copy, a carter's copy and a purchaser's copy. Transfer means are provided between the sheets. In a modification the adhesive 8 may be replaced by a stub portion with a line of perforations for sheets 2 and 4.
