'[Class 44] In a door latch of the kind having a spring shot sliding bolt withdrawn by a push-button acting at right-angles thereto, the bolt b sliding in a body part a has a transverse recess g one side, an inclined rear surface h of which is engaged by the inner end j of the push-button e. The pushbutton is mounted in a guide d formed with a flared outer end and maintained in contact with the surface h by a spring k. The bolt which is of square section is limited in its movement by a grub screw n working in a slot m in the case.
