[Class 136 (ii)] In a vehicle wheel hub having a removable central element 11 receiving the wheel,. two lateral sleeves 10, 12 secured respectively to the arms, 14<SP>1</SP>, 14<SP>2</SP> of the fork and a rod 32 passing through the parts 10, 11 and screwed in the interior of the sleeve 12 the driving pinion 27 is screwed on the cage 26 of one of the anti-friction bearings 25. The elements 10, 11, 12 are moved together by tightening the rod 32 and held by a set of projections 191, 192 in the sleeve 10 and 291, 29<SP>2</SP> on the sleeve 12 engaging respectively in recesses 301, 30<SP>2</SP> and 31<SP>1</SP>, 312 in the central element 11. The projections are mounted in a circle on discs which screw into the interior of the cages 18, 26 of which they form the side cheeks. The recesses are formed in identical discs screwed into the cages for the bearings 22, 23 in the central element 11.
