Abstract

637,275. Road vehicles. BISHOP, W. H. Jan. 23, 1948, No. 2046. [Class 108 (i)] All-weather equipment for a tractor comprises fixed side panels 15 secured to the rear wings of the tractor, a rear cross-panel 17, a front frame carrying a windscreen 28 of which the lower part 30 is mounted on the tractor bonnet or is movable out of the path of the rear edge of the bonnet which is hingedly connected to the tractor at its forward end. One or two doors 34 may be provided and a roof 24 is secured to the side panels 15 and rear panel 17. A heat-insulating lining may be mounted below the roof with a substantial air space. Windows 19 may also be provided to enable the driver to see the ground adjacent the front wheels.
